We are writing to let you know how very pleased we are with the service we received Your Service Technicians, Gary Nelson and his partner, are extremely knowledgeable and efficient. They completed the extremely difficult task of replacing the entire hot and cold water lines in our home, all in one long day – with excellent results.

Around last November, we began to notice our gas and electric bill had begun to increase at an alarming rate. Having retired from PG&E a number of years ago, I was hesitant to complain of a high bill right at the time they were advertising the fact that their rates were going to increase dramatically. But when our February bill reached $553.49 (and this is with a 25% employee discount), we had to complain. Because $500.83 of the bill was from gas usage (357 therms), a Gas Serviceman came to inspect the meter but found nothing wrong.

The only gas appliances we have are the central heater, and the hot water tank. Since we had just had a new element put on the water tank, we bought an insert for our fireplace. This helped a little, but our gas usage still cost $362.12 (287 terms) in March. That’s when we called MapleService, on March 6. Your technicians spent a lot of time going over almost every inch of the water lines, and discovered a leak in the hot water lines imbedded in cement. They came the next day, early, and stayed late, completing the job in one day.

We were very pleased when we received our April bill and found we had used only 31 therms of gas ($30.14), and to prove this was not a fluke, our May bill showed usage of only 30 therms ($25.50).
